You can start an activity (Report) by clicking on the "PLAY" icon, either directly from the main menu at the bottom, or via the START tab

If you want to start an unscheduled activity, then click the play arrow, select the machine in the device structure and the specific activity for it. For unspecified activity we use "NEW REQUEST/NEW REQUEST"
Add detail to the note so it is clear exactly what I did.
We start with the play arrow, now the activity will be waiting for us in termination and you will now be credited for the time you spend on that activity.
